U.S. Mounts New Economic and Military Assaults on the Syrian Republic

September 10, 2018

Some of the most recent wrecking behavior from Washington includes:

– refusing the Syrian Republic's calls for the U.S. to dismantle its military bases in and around al-Tanf and to exit the country

– on September 8, issuing anti-fuel-procurement sanctions through the U.S. Treasury aimed at paralyzing Syria's internal trade

– attempting to strip Syria of its political sovereignty by declaring the right to conduct "war exercises" inside Syria starting on September 7

– on September 8, declaring plans to launch urban and rural U.S. military operations in Idlib province, where U.S. plans to balkanize Syria have already taken effect with the help of an earlier Turkish military incursion into Syria.
